How to save yourself a few minutes with your site admin each year.

I’ve been considering the concept of time in a weirdly existential way recently. It must be because of the new year etc. Anyway after making my first plugin for a time button in Squarespace site headers (you can find it here), I also remembered the mildly tedious task of changing the date on your site for copyright. So I made a dynamic solution.

This plugin uses JavaScript to dynamically fetch the current year from the user's system date and time. It then automatically updates the designated area in your website's footer with this current year, ensuring it's always up-to-date without any manual intervention.
